New Board of Directors chaired by Tiina Korhonen appointed for the NESA
The Finnish Government has appointed a new Board of Directors for the National Emergency Supply Agency (NESA) for the next three years. The Board is made up of representatives of Finnish industries and different ministries. The new Chair is Tiina Korhonen from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment. The new Board’s term begins on 1 July 2023 and will end on 30 June 2026.
The NESA is a central government organisation operating under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland. The NESA’s Board of Directors is appointed by the Finnish Government by proposal of the National Emergency Supply Council.
For the past six years, the Board of Directors of the NESA has been chaired by Director General Ilona Lundström from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, who is now stepping down having reached the chair term limit.
